The best way to shut up the gatekeepers is to call it curvy, wurly, or squiggly. If they argue with that then they have bigger issues than hair type.

bro im sorry but 2C is NOT an s shape 😭😭 ive looked it up before, 2C is 100% curly 😭 my hair is 2C and i have O shape rings in my hair a lot, idk why ppl say 2C is wavy bc its not bro it literally makes the O shape curls and it so clearly just looks like curly hair bro like what??? 💀😭 like bro 2C hair doesnt even look wavy, it looks curly 😭😭 also on another note, i may possibly actually have 3a hair. im not that educated on hair texture number things lolll but i think im definitely a 2C and a 3a. i used to think i was 2b and 2c, but that was when i first learned about hair texture code things so i had just judged it by a few photos i saw, but now i looked and i see that 2b is wayy more wavy, so that's definitely not me loll. id say i have pretty tight curls ig? idk tho. not rlly like the super tight curls, just tighter curls than most 2c ppl idk nvm idrk what im saying but i think i have 3a lol. or maybe even 3b. im not sure i'll have to do more research on it and look into it ig lolll. this comment was 99% yapping so apologies for that 😭😭 wait a sec, now that i think abt it i rlly dont think im a 2c bc my hair has the rings its not rlly an s shape, but i mean s shape is still curly so idk. i feel like i might just have the same hair type as the girl in the video, bc just like turns into more of an s shape, but it kind of curls up at the bottom? idk lol. when i wash my hair and first dry it off, its more of a ringlet shape. i do know one thing tho and thats that i definitely have curly hair loll. 😂 idk nvm loll OK I REWATCHED THE VIDEO AND I 100% HAVE THE EXACT SAME HAIR TEXTURE AS HER!! Glad I came across this video. I've watched plenty others on this topic before, but it is kinda crazy how similar your hair is to mine...same color, same length, very similar curl pattern AND I also cut mine myself using Mel's unicorn cut because I wanted all the layers...how weird is that?! Anyway, seeing the results you get with finger rolling was very cool because it showed me the potential my hair has to look big and bouncy, too, which is the look I'm constantly trying to achieve. I use the denmin brush on my hair, i also have 2c 3a hair so its rly nice i would also like to say it also works rly good on large chinks of hair not just small peices too ❤
